Cloud migration upgrade FAAN’s information exchange standards

As the sole driver of aviation infrastructure in Nigeria, FAAN’s reputation thrives on their ability to provide amenities to support aviation shareholders. To that end, the I.C.T department of FAAN was seeking, in-depth and effective professionally executed cloud strategy to help aid their communication and internal I.T infrastructure.

As  an integral I.C.T personnel at FAAN, Elijah Ogunjobi’s task was to raise standards in ICT, across the organization.

“Our aim was that every staff at FAAN reaches what we would describe as a minimum acceptable standard of digitized information exchange, causing the organization to raise it’s I.T standard for information security reasons. Although we are a government organization, the paper work drags and is growing cumbersome by the minute”

But not only does FAAN have a very large workforce, it is also spread all over various states in the country. David is a growing I.T standards at FAAN. For him, it was clear that a cloud based information exchange solution was the way to go.

“FAAN is a large global organization. In order to facilitate fast, secure and effective information exchange, what better way to do it than using cloud? And managed infrastructural approach.”

Boiyelove International realized early on that FAAN is an organization that wants to set the pace, not just keep up with it. They didn’t just want a core cloud infrastructure, they also wanted an actively used infrastructure engaged by their staff with ease of integration  and little to no outside support, so their could scale and grow their I.T.

“Our staff now use their email resources fluidly, we’ve been able to migrate staffs to our email based solutions in little but no time.” stated Elijah

Fortunately, FAAN had a server already set up. Having a server meant their staff already knew the benefits of a cloud based approach. The next step was to find the right partner, to provide the cloud based infrastructure the government organization needed.

To get FAAN started, Boiyelove Int’l began by carefully picking outlining the cloud usecases that were most relevant to FAAN and their staff. They then agreed on a global user credential paradigm that generated over 8000 unique identities to FAAN’s staff . Upon assignment, each staff is tasked with managing their credentials to either update or retain it.

Boiyelove International then worked with FAAN to onboard staffs to make it easy for their global workforce communicate official duties, wherever they were, and whenever it’s required.

A strategic launch was also successfully supported by our awareness of the vastness of their departments – we deployed a strategic rollout per department. Today, Boiyelove International continues to work with FAAN to ensure I.T compliance with their workforce, and help the organization realize their full digital potential.
